At Basata.in, we take pride in sourcing and delivering premium laces, appliqués, and fabrics with care. While we ensure your order is shipped on time, the actual delivery process is handled by third-party courier partners (such as Blue Dart, DTDC, Xpressbees, etc.).
We ship orders through one of the following courier partners, depending on the delivery pin-code:

Dispatch Timeline: Orders are usually dispatched within 1–2 business days of ordering. Delivery typically takes 3–4 working days after dispatch. In unforeseen circumstances (remote areas, courier delays, natural calamities, incorrect contact details, etc.), delivery may take up to 15 days.
All orders are carefully packed to ensure products arrive safely.

2. Order Status & Tracking
Orders placed from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) will be processed and shipped within 2 working days of payment confirmation.
Once shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. You can track your package on the courier partner’s website using your AWB number.
👉 Please provide a valid phone number during checkout so the courier can contact you if needed. 👉 Customers are responsible for monitoring the tracking status.
If there are delays or fake delivery remarks, contact us immediately via WhatsApp or Instagram DM so we can escalate the issue with the courier partner.
International Deliveries: Currently, we deliver only within India. International shipping will be added soon.
3. Payment Methods

All payments are powered by Razorpay, India’s most trusted payment gateway, ensuring 100% secure transactions.
Cash on Delivery (COD):
Available for orders above ₹500/- and below ₹3000/-.
We reserve the right to cancel COD orders based on location, item type, or order quantity.
To avoid COD restrictions and ensure smooth delivery, we recommend prepaid orders.
4. Claiming Missing Items
If any item is missing from your order:
Contact us immediately via email/WhatsApp/Instagram DM.
Provide the unpacking video of the shipment received.
Claims without proof (video evidence) may not be entertained.
5. Product Not Received but Status Shows Delivered
If tracking shows your order as Delivered but you have not received it:
Notify us immediately via WhatsApp or Instagram DM.
Courier companies accept such disputes only within 3 days of the “Delivered” status update.
After 3 days, we will not be able to escalate the issue with the courier company.
6. Delayed Deliveries & Responsibility
While we strive to ensure timely dispatch, the delivery timeline is subject to courier company operations. Delays may occur due to:
Incorrect/incomplete shipping address, pin-code, or phone number provided by the buyer
Remote or restricted delivery locations
Courier company’s operational or logistic challenges
Force majeure events such as strikes, natural calamities, floods, or political disruptions
Recipient unavailability at the time of delivery or refusal to accept calls from the courier
👉 Basata’s Responsibility: To dispatch your order on time and provide valid tracking details. 👉 Courier’s Responsibility: To deliver safely and in a timely manner once the shipment is handed over. 👉 Buyer’s Responsibility: To provide accurate delivery/contact details, track the shipment, and be available to receive the package.
⚠️ Please note: Basata cannot be held liable for courier company delays once the package has been dispatched.
7. Refunds in Case of Delayed Delivery
No refunds will be issued if the order is delayed due to courier partner operations or buyer-related issues (such as wrong address, unreachable phone, recipient unavailable, etc.).
Refunds will only be considered if the order is lost in transit and officially confirmed as undeliverable by the courier company.
For customized or made-to-order items, no refunds are allowed under any circumstances of delay.
